Financial Agency of Women in Pakistan

For this research, IDEO.org and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation partnered with IDEATE Innovation, Karandaaz, Telenor, Jazz, and UBL to research the barriers women in Pakistan face in accessing digital financial services (DFS). 59 people from three regions over the course of three weeks were interviewed. 

This publication highlights the vast opportunities that exist in having women to connect to DFS in a meaningful way and advocates the need for building an ecosystem where women are included at every step.
