The practice of post-conflict microfinance for special groups is continuously evolving based on on-going experiments and recent successes or failures. This brief is divided into three subsections, each focusing on the lessons learned for the particular group. These lessons are generalizationsand exceptions are inevitable. Moreover, it is hoped that future microfinance programs may find better ways to respond to the needs of these populations in the future, even if it renders this brief irrelevant.
