European Development Days 2018: Three Lessons for Economically Empowering Women with Digital Financial Services
How can technology and digital financial services work for women and not leave them further behind? What does it mean to be a gender-lens investor in financial inclusion?
On 6 June, 2018 from 1 to 2:15 PM CGAP and Women's World Banking will host a session at the European Development Days 2018 titled "Three Lessons for Economically Empowering Women with Digital Financial Services"
This session will explore the power of digital financial services solutions that can accelerate the closing of the gender gap and a gender lens investing methodology to support these efforts. Successful case studies and challenges will be shared along with the introduction of a new approach to gender lens investing to drive financial service providers to more effectively serve low-income women.
