Measuring Performance of Microfinance Institutions: A Framework for Reporting, Analysis, and Monitoring

A tool for microfinance institutions to achieve global microfinance performance standards

The FRAME Tool is the companion utility to the Framework manual. Launched in 2006, the tool is an easy-to-use Excel workbook that enables users to input financial data and generate financial statements, reports, adjustments, and performance ratios. Completely pre-programmed in Excel, the tool offers instructions and refers the user to corresponding parts of the Framework for detailed explanations. The FRAME is intended for users who are familiar with using Excel, but does not require programming skills,It is available in several languages (select from the drop-down menu on the Introduction tab). The FRAME Tool has been field-tested in MFIs in several countries.
