This paper presents four case studies of Bank ADOPEM clients. Each of these clients has used ADOPEM loans to start successful businesses and have clear future goals. Bank ADOPEM is an affiliate of Women's World Banking located in the Dominican Republic.The case studies include those of:
- Florentina Angeles Reyes, who makes and delivers lunches;
- Bethania Cordero Rodriguez, who organizes ROSCAs, sells clothing and runs a money management business;
- Victor De La Cruz Moreno, who runs a windows and doors workshop, a clothing and shoe business and a car insurance business;
- Ana Celeste Genao Rodriguez, who owns a large and well stocked grocery store.
The case studies present details of clients' progress, their household resource flows, their various loans and their future goals.
