Baseline study documenting access, usage and quality of financial services
119 pages
As formal financial inclusion in Jordan is quite low among certain segments of the population, the Jordanian government and international organizations have started to take action to better understand the causes and to find ways to boost the availability, usage and quality of financial services.
The main objective of this study was to establish a baseline for financial inclusion by assessing the state of access, usage and quality of financial services as well as the regulatory, physical and commercial barriers to financial inclusion. The study also looks at the specifics and needs for gender, socio-economic, demographic and geographic usage.
