Blik Goes Cross-Border With PPRO Partnership

Polish Payment Standard (PPS), operator of the Blik mobile payment brand in Poland, inked a deal to extend its remittance options beyond the nation’s perimeter as it seeks to grab a slice of growing cross-border trade opportunities.

The deal with international payment service provider PPRO enables Polish consumers to make payments to global merchants using Blik, which the publication explained offers bank-to-bank transfers controlled through a “mobile front-end”.
