Frieder Wöhrmann
Frieder is a senior MSME banking expert and co-founder of fin-BITS. He has successfully built and managed various banks on the Balkans; and has a substantial track-record in management consulting of financial institutions in different regions and on behalf of international investors and development banks. His managerial perspective of operational processes shapes all fin-BITS products.
Helena Herrero
Helena has extensive experience in the design of solutions regarding organizational culture, leadership development, employee loyalty and high-performance teams in the financial industry in Latin America and the United States. At FinConecta, she leads Digital Strategy Solutions. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Belgrano (Argentina) and a Certification in Human Resources from Cornell University. She is also a certified Executive Coach, Agile SCRUM Master, Coach and Trainer, and has completed her studies in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Relief) at the University of Massachusetts.
Kalin Radev
Kalin Radev is the CEO of Software Group, a global technology company that is specialized in delivery channel and integration solutions for institutions that provide financial services. He brings 20+ years of professional experience in IT, 15+ of which in financial inclusion, banking and microfinance. Kalin has extensive international experience leading strategic projects in Europe, Africa, Asia, Pacific and Latin America. His expertise has been crucial for carrying out more than 100 projects around the globe, focused on developing IT strategies and designing solutions that accelerate financial inclusion and enhance efficiency. Mr. Radev is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Microfinance Center (MFC), Endeavor Bulgaria, and the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber.
Christophe Bretagnolle
Christophe Bretagnolle is a Managing Partner at PCES. He has 20 years of experience providing IT solutions to various type of businesses. For the past 10 years he has been supporting financial institutions in Europe and Africa with their IT processes and has trained and mentored several teams around the world. His expertise covers most of IT for financial institutions from system administration to application development, complemented by a solid knowledge of banking products and processes.
At PCES, Christophe is responsible for product development and acts as IT consultant in various projects in Africa.
Ashirul Amin
Ashirul Amin specializes in advanced analytics of financial institutions which provide financial services to low-income clients. His work informs discussions around client segmentation, product sustainability, savings behavior and cross-sell by utilizing custom-built algorithms. He has worked on projects including InFocus, GAFIS, OPTIX, FIBR and the Catalyst Fund, with partners in Latin America, East Africa, and South and South East Asia.
Prior to BFA, he worked at a financial services company focused on emerging markets, and an impact investment firm. He has a doctorate in Development Economics from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He has a Master’s degree from The Fletcher School and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Princeton University, with specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
