Appui au Développement Autonome (ADA), a non-profit organization based in Luxembourg, works with microfinance institutions by offering them a unique combination of financial support and customized technical services. These MFIs gain access to a valuable network of public and private support organizations, alternative financial institutions, microfinance rating agencies and international development agencies. Since its launch in 1994, ADA has developed a viable network of different specialists in microfinance and come up with creative ways to support the sustainability and credibility in microfinance. ADA seeks to promote support sustainable mechanisms for microfinance by implementing two complementary programs that combine finance support through LUXMINT and non-financial and analytical support through CEREM.

| GRET (French Language Microfinance Gateway Partner)
The Microfinance Gateway also partners with GRET to develop and manage the Portail Microfinance, the affiliate French language site.
GRET (Research and Technological Exchange Group) is a France-based development support organization that works at the interface between research and development in dialogue with government authorities. In microfinance, GRET aims to support or create microfinance institutions. GRET is thus active either as practitioner or by providing support to local institutions in South-East Asia, Africa and Central America. GRET also disseminates technical and support tools for local practitioners. With CIRAD, French Agriculture Center for International Development, for example, GRET co-moderates a thematic French-speaking discussion forum, called “Espace Finance.” |

The Microfinance Gateway has developed a partnership with Sanabel Network to create an affiliate Arabic language site to serve practitioners across the
Sanabel is a membership-driven network for microfinance institutions in the Arab countries. Its members serve 80% of the active microfinance clients – 775,000 microentrepreneurs – in the region. It aims to maximize outreach to microentrepreneurs by providing microfinance institutions with a forum for mutual learning and exchange, capacity building services, and advocacy for good practice microfinance. Sanabel's focus on information exchange has three main objectives: provide a regular forum where practitioners can debate major issues and work together to push the industry forward, develop a central web-based resource in Arabic that can provide for discussion, dissemination of microfinance literature and other information, and disseminate information about microfinance in the Arab world.
