Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Study the existing status of microcredit in Morocco;
- Analyze the new services that AMCs would like to offer and the demand for those services;
- Study of the international experience in the field of institutional transformation of AMCs;
- In-depth study of the recommended target structure taking into consideration the Moroccan environment and international experiences.
Skills/qualifications/experience:
- At least 5 years of working experience, evidenced by references;
- Advanced degree (Master’s) in accounting/ finance, a specialist in financial regulation and supervision (accounting and reporting obligations, prudential standards), in connection with the financial market’s products and banking regulations;
- In-depth knowledge of how microfinance organizations need to be organized to comply with financial regulations; experience with projects that provide assistance to microfinance organizations to help them reorganize to comply with new regulations;
- In-depth knowledge of the financial sector, microfinance and financial regulation internationally and in Morocco;
- Fluency in French (reporting) and English; Arabic is an asset.
