The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will lend US$1.5 million to Credo to support the development of micro businesses in Georgia. The credit line will be used to provide local microentrepreneurs with longer-term financing for agricultural and tourism business, as well as individual, urban and household loans, focusing on regions outside of the capital. Established in 1997 by World Vision International, Credo is a leading MFI ranked second by size of its loan portfolio in Georgia.
